Lookin’ for a new website? You’re in the right place!
Here’s the short list of stuff I can do for you: HTML sites, WordPress sites, Sales Pages, Graphics, eCovers, eZines, Form set up, Social Networking backgrounds, and more…
With that said, my main focus is on WordPress Websites — that is, full business sites that include both your brochure site and your blog, built to optimize your web presence. Whether you are launching a brand new business or updating a site that is not quite working for you, creating a website that is both branded and pretty AND functionally awesome is something that I enjoy and specialize in.
Below you will find details of my main (and most popular) design package. If what your looking for doesn’t quite fit in with that package, please feel free to contact me to get more information on html (static) sites or other services you may need. Please keep in mind that I do book projects 6-8 weeks in advance. If you are coming to me as a new client, please include as much information as possible about you and your project — I love meeting new people and would be more then happy to find a spot in my schedule to assist you, but random email requests with no introduction, project details or general niceties don’t land high on my priority list!!

2 Evaluation Sessions with Victoria
Since the full site packages include many aspects beyond the actual coding of the site, they require a minimum 6 week lead time (as my schedule permits). During that initial lead time, strategy sessions will be completed. I also ask that a launch date is chosen prior to starting the project. This date needs to be something realistic for your schedule. If you don’t think you will have your content ready for 3 months, then by all means, don’t schedule the launch until then!!
The design fees have been created based on the time each project takes. To sum up what you get with this package in a real basic way, you get about 4 hours of strategy sessions with me (planning, coaching, developing ideas), 1 full week of me focusing on your project design (pretty much whatever you need with your site will be done as long as it fits into that week of work), and 4 hours of post-launch training, coaching and evaluation.
Our pre-design strategy sessions will typically consist of 4 1-hour coaching/planning calls. During the first call, we will review your site needs and discuss your options. The next 2 calls we will go into more detail on each aspect of your site (the design, the functionality, the content & calls to action…) and during the final call we will walk through the plan, go over all the pieces of the project and make sure we are in the same boat!
During your design week, you pretty much have me to yourself (relatively). I will start the site project by setting up all the techie aspects of the project, and begin working on the design elements. At that time if you have opted to have me create the graphics we will go over mock ups and if you have opted to use another graphic designer, I will work with them (as much as they allow) to get the graphics ready for the site. Throughout the week, we will complete each section of the site so that on Friday, the site is ready to be reviewed and launched!
Since a website is kinda like a living thing, I highly recommend consistent updating, evaluating and upgrading. Don’t let that scare you, though! I will walk you through what you need to do to keep your site up-to-par. That process starts with my follow up evaluation on your site, normally scheduled 6 weeks after the launch. I will provide you with a preliminary analytics report, and with that we will discuss what is working, what isn’t, and what you can do to boost your site traffic. After that, you can opt to keep up the site on your own or come back to me to check on progress, make upgrades and keep things fresh!
If you have a smaller project you would like assistance with, openings may be available based on my availability. Please send your request in via the contact form and you will be contacted if there is an opening during your needed timeframe.
Stuff to take note of!!
PLEASE make note that schedules are really important to me!! Since all my site projects are scheduled on a “first come, first serve” basis, I am not able to accommodate projects that wait until the last minute!! I also can not let projects seep into additional weeks. Be realistic when planning for your site. If you have a ton of trips, programs or projects coming up on your end, be aware of your limitations and schedule your project when you can realistically get answers, content and feedback to me. You have me for a whole week — but if during that week you decide to take a last minute trip and can’t get me any content, then be aware that the content insertion will be your responsibility!! Of course, I understand when emergencies arise, so if something comes up with your family or your own health and you cannot complete the stuff needed to finish the site, I will be more then happy to reschedule the project during my next opening.
PLEASE read over my policies and terms. It is very important to me that both parties go into a project fully understanding each other and what the project includes. I really hate sending “no I can’t” emails, so make sure that you are aware of my limitations. Please also note that your account must be up-to-date in order for work to commence.
PLEASE read your emails! I recognize that I can get long winded at times (Ha!) but I promise you that all communication from me has a rhyme and reason, so please be sure to read over all our email communications.
PLEASE ask me questions!! If you are concerned with any part of a project, don’t understand something or don’t agree with something, please do not hesitate to ask me about it!! The last thing I want is to create a website for you that you don’t understand! No question is dumb. No lack of knowledge will be mocked. I am here to help you get the most out of your website, so please utilize me!!!
That’s all my rambling for now! (See, told you I could be long winded) So if you think we would be a good fit, please feel free to submit a design request or contact me!!
